Empica’s PR team has been representing tourist attractions, restaurants, hotels, holiday and travel companies, and their suppliers, for more than 30 years.
Empica is proud to have worked with some of the biggest names in tourism and hospitality in Bristol and across the South West.
Our roles have been as diverse as the organisations we work for, but have often included showcasing and promoting venues, holidays and tours, attracting visitors and customers, forging industry links and lobbying politicians and regulators on major issues of concern.
We are hugely creative in our approach and have devised stunts that have captured the imaginations of journalists and the public, using a combination of human interest stories, photography and video content across social media, online, print and broadcast channels.
It’s not just about the good times though. We supported the sector through the tough Covid-19 restrictions that saw many unable to operate for long periods of time. One of our roles was to help our clients to communicate difficult and sensitive messages, internally as well as externally, often as a result of organisational restructuring brought on by the pandemic.
Our specialist crisis communications and reputation management team is always on hand to train, advise and support our tourism and hospitality clients when things go wrong and handle all media enquiries and negative media on their behalf to minimise (and, if possible, avoid) any adverse impact.
