Since 2005, Empica has been working in the UK and internationally with businesses in the IVF, fertility and assisted reproductive technology area, as well as high profile individuals, including the world’s first test tube baby Louise Brown.
Our work has seen Martin attend major events across the world, including the conferences of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), ART Nurses (Japan) and the Chinese Society of Reproductive Medicine, managing guest speaker appearances, handling the media and managing key aspects of publicity.
We have helped to publicise new and existing techniques, raised awareness of fertility issues and joined debates on ethics and legislation around fertility. We have promoted success stories and personal triumphs, helped develop professional profiles, educate and build greater understanding.
Martin is the author of Louise Brown’s biography ‘My life as the world’s first test tube baby” and supported Louise during her UK media tours in 2024 to help promote the Netflix film ‘Joy’ which tells the story of the scientists whose ground-breaking work led to her conception.
Martin is also co-author of “Under The Microscope” with Elizabeth Carr, the USA’s first IVF baby.
