Helping Tutor

PR for the education sector

We help nurseries, schools and colleges to attract more children and young people in competitive and challenging times.

Empica has worked for nurseries, schools and colleges across all age groups from early years, through primary and secondary schooling, and into further and higher education.

We have worked closely with head teachers and their boards of trustees to develop PR and communication programmes that support their aims. These usually include attracting, engaging and retaining parents, students, teachers, staff and other stakeholders.

As your PR agency, we will get to know you and your values so that we can position you effectively and identify stories that showcase your activities and achievements in the best possible way. We will raise your profile and keep awareness high, using print, online and broadcast media, social media, newsletters, blogs, photography and video content.

We also work on a one-to-one basis with head teachers and principals to raise their professional profiles through traditional and social media channels.

All our clients have access to our crisis communications and reputation management services, including media training and consultancy to ensure you’re well prepared for all eventualities. And on those rare occasions when things go wrong, we will be your trusted partner, on hand to advise and guide you on your communications to staff, parents and other stakeholders. We will also act as your press office, handing media enquiries and drafting statements to minimise (and hopefully avoid) any negative publicity.

Please get in touch if you would like to have an informal discussion about how we can help to shine a spotlight on your nursery, school or educational facility.
